Tardi-shed

A friend built himself a shed from old interior house doors. This meant it was about 3ft x 3ft and had the look of a certain well known time-travelling device. The only inspiration I needed and thus was born a little project for a visitor annunciator.
I stumbled upon a small "cuddly" Tardis in a greetings card shop and being a big believer in "off the shelf" wherever possible (rather than reinventing the wheel again) it became the basis for the "Tardi-shed" as I'm calling it.

Stripping out the PCB and building the whole lot inside a proper box, I took the opportunity to buffer the LED drive so that it would provide enough current to light a filament lamp.
Also, keen to make use of the healthy audio output driver in the original design, I incorporated two proper 8 ohm speakers.
