Diorama (commission).

The brief was simple. To design and build a railway themed leaving gift to be presented to a colleague with a very long railway career.

We already had a very nice Dapol"N" gauge Class 66 dummy loco (EWS livery) which we purchased for another member of staff who was leaving - then didn't.

Malcs Models, Ilkeston had a non-motorised NMT so this was swiftly purchased along with a presentation case, a tunnel mouth and some scatter materials. The rest, was left with me and I had a bit of a riot with artistic licence.
